Nationally recognized makeup artist Dani Wagener has over 20 years of experience. She is one of New England’s most sought after makeup artists for weddings. Dani has received multiple awards from the editors of Allure, Boston Magazine, and InStyle, all naming her the best makeup artist in Boston. Also a licensed esthetician, she is well-known for her attention to detail, realistic approach to makeup, and versatile artistry. She believes in not only making women beautiful, but also giving them the knowledge and know-how so they can make themselves. Her mastery of airbrush makeup, skincare, and false eyelashes is what separates her from others.
Over the years, Dani has worked for many prestigious brands including Giorgio Armani, Temptu, and as a National Atelier Artist for shu uemura until opening her beauty studio on Newbury Street in Boston in 2010. As her team expanded and her business grew, Dani moved her studio to the Seaport District in 2013.

Sophia is primarily known for her bridal and editorial work. Her styling is unique, with natural yet intentional design. She began her training in cosmetology at the Aveda Institute of Los Angeles. After returning to her home base of Boston, Sophia furthered her education by apprenticing on Newbury Street and continuing her education at the L'Oreal Professional SOHO Academy NYC. After spending the last decade working with brides and establishing herself as a freelance artist, Sophia has managed to bring her impeccable eye for detail and caring nature into one brand. Her work has been featured in Magnolia Rouge Magazine, Wedding Sparrow, and the Boston Ballet among other blogs and publications. Thriving on personal and professional growth, positivity and a chic aesthetic, she found her dream team here at DWB.
